Airbus A330/340

Author: Robert Hewson

The initial production version of the A330 was designated -300. It flies with a crew of two and can accommodate up to 440 passengers to a range of 6,329 miles at Mach 0.86. The A330 was the first Airbus design to be offered with engines from all three major manufacturers - General Electric, Pratt & Whitney and Rolls-Royce.
